How many questions are there on the certification exam?

Each exam contains 20 questions.

Can I take the exam again if I do not pass?

Yes, you can retake the exam if you fail to receive a passing score for the course exam.

How do I get my certificate and wallet card?

CME/CEU certifications require additional steps to receive your certification: American Academy of CPR and First Aid Certifications: After passing the exam, you can purchase the certification and then you will immediately be able to print your certification and wallet card. You can also request the certificates to be mailed for a low shipping cost. You can also send the digital certification to any email address from your account. CME/CEU Credit Certifications: After passing the exam, you must complete and submit the course evaluation survey before you are able to purchase your certificate. Once you have purchased your certificate, you can immediately print your certification and wallet card, and you can also request the certificates to be mailed for a low shipping cost. You can also send the digital certification to any email address from your account. Blended Hands-on CPR certification: For Hands-on CPR training we only issue digital online certification and we do not send any certification by mail. You can print your certification from your account.

What if I lose my certificate or wallet card?

If you lose your certification or wallet card issued by American Academy of CPR & First Aid, Inc., then please login to your account at www.onlinecprcertification.net and click 'Replacement Card/Mail'. You will be required to pay the shipping cost to receive a replacement certification.

How long will my certificate be valid?

Certificates are valid from the date of issue found on your certification: Healthcare Provider CPR: 2 years, BLS CPR (Adult/Child/Infant) Certification: 2 years, First Aid Course: 2 years, Adult CPR: 2 years, Bloodborne Pathogens: 1 year, ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): 2 years.

Will the certificate be accepted in my state?

Certification requirements can be different state-by-state as well as institutions and employers. Our courses and certifications are accepted by many institutions and organizations throughout USA. Because our courses and exams are free, you and your organization have full access to view and evaluate the materials before purchasing any certificates. However, if for any reason your American Academy of CPR and FirstAid, Inc. certification does not fulfill the requirements set forth by your organization, we will issue a full refund when you can confirm denial. To request a refund, please send an email, fax, or post mail to American Academy of CPR and FirstAid, Inc. within 30 days of payment of your certificate. This a great option for renewals I think a person acquiring certification for st time would gain more from hands on and it would resonate more I always feel like I know this info till I test I have taken BLSCPR First aide in Certified handson courses maybe times now over the past years and think someone who had never taken the inperson program would fail to learn as much
