There is a company that has revealed its yearly list of the primary health care problems for the upcoming year and the cyber security, mHealth along with the database analytical tools came on top of the list for 2016. The yearly list this year will be entitled, THRIVING IN THE NEW HEALTH ECONOMY, it will emphasize the stretches that are said to have the highest impact to the healthcare industry in 2016 and some reports even predict that next year will be the year of the firsts. It will be so for the healthcare users, companies and newbies, as the modern tools and services came into the scene, the NEW HEALTH ECONOMY. Close to what’s indicated in the list last year 2014, the HRI merely focused on health IT trends along with the tools and with the newest models for the payment and for the medical cost calculations.
In terms of the health IT side, the HRI listed the mHealth, like the mobile phones, linked to the medical accessories along with the apps, as becoming trendy for next year, tagging that mHealth has been underused by the healthcare industry. The rate of the people with at least 1 medical, health and fitness application in their smartphones has doubled in just 2 years’ time. With the ever growing number of people using their mobile devices and the move going to a handheld medicine, the HRI suggests that the health systems must rechecked long term capital investments with regards to the virtual medicine, that includes the movement from the centralized brick and mortar plans to the distributed investments highlighting the team up and the joint ventures.
What to look forward to
It is not surprising anymore that cyber security has made the list as the healthcare products, regardless if the mobile application or the medical tools are linked to the Internet. The HRI report highlights the connection in terms of the cost, probably prone to hackers and bad guys. According to the poll by the HRI, 38% of the consumers may be cautious of using a hospital linked to a hacked device. The HRI suggests that companies keep the smart devices updated and with firewalls and on networks different from the key medical and personal information.
The new database tools have made the list of the primary health care problems in 2016. Since the health care providers look over the big rate of data, the HRI actually thinks that the growth of the new non rational, databases that may be changed to bigger and different datasets into practical insights. The HRI cites the new database used by the health systems like in a particular hospital in the U.S. These new databases may even boost the value of the current HER systems and then cut the costs according to the HRI.
